The jazz magazine uses an image of an instrument, a convention of music magazines, representing the artist as a talented saxophonist, the artic monkeys cover uses autographs to adhere to the music genre and appeal audiences. Rayes edition is typical of a pop artist- this isn’t a music magazine but as a mainstream artist is featured.
